Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the E'lan / إعلان mobile application ("the App"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. About the App

The App publishes:

• public job announcements from Kuwaiti government and oil-sector entities,
• pay-scale information for various sectors,
• Civil Service Commission dates,
• and related information.

The App is operated by Ali Almutawa, an individual based in Kuwait, in a personal capacity.

2. Not affiliated with any government

The App is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any Kuwaiti government ministry, the Civil Service Commission, the Kuwait Anti-Doping Agency, the Kuwait National Labor Support program, or any other official entity. All job announcements, salary tables, and dates are aggregated from publicly available sources for your convenience.

3. Accuracy of information

We make a reasonable effort to keep information up to date, but we make no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of any job announcement, the validity of application deadlines, the current value of any salary or allowance shown, or the official status of any date. Salary calculators are provided for guidance only; final salaries are determined by the relevant employer. Always verify against official sources before making decisions based on this information.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Your account

You sign in with Apple Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You may not share your account or use someone else's Apple ID without their permission. You may delete your account at any time from inside the App (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is permanent.

6. Acceptable use and reporting content

You agree not to:

• use the App for any illegal purpose,
• reverse engineer, scrape, or bulk-extract content from the App,
• use automated tools to interact with the App,
• misrepresent your identity or qualifications in your profile,
• interfere with or disrupt the App's normal operation,
• submit abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or unlawful content through any in-app communication channel (including listing reports or support emails).

Zero-tolerance policy: We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Any content that violates these Terms — including offensive, discriminatory, hateful, harassing, or impersonating material — will be removed, and the responsible account may be suspended or deleted without prior notice.

Reporting a job listing or questionable content: If you believe a job listing is fraudulent, inaccurate, or contains inappropriate material, please tap the "Report this listing" button inside the job detail page, or email us directly at almutawa.store965@gmail.com.

Response time: We commit to reviewing all reports and responding within 24 hours. We will remove any content that violates these Terms and block abusive users when warranted. To report an abusive user or request that an account be blocked, email the address above with details of the issue.

7. Advertising

The App is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. By using the App you agree that ads may be shown. We do not control the content of individual ads.

8. Intellectual property

The App's design, logo, text, and code are owned by Ali Almutawa. Job descriptions and government content are property of their respective owners (the publishing entities). You may not copy or redistribute the App's content for commercial purposes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• decisions you make based on information in the App,
• lost opportunities, missed application deadlines, or career outcomes,
• any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The updated version takes effect when posted at this URL. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.
